You can use Backify through our website or install or install the browser extension to spot available savings while you shop online.

Yes. Backify is free to use, and you can start earning cashback without paying any membership or subscription fees. We also believe free should not come at the cost of your privacy. Backify does not sell your personal data. We use the information needed to track eligible purchases, apply cashback, and improve your shopping experience.

Backify is currently available in the United Kingdom, United States of America and Sweden. We are working on expanding to other regions shortly. You can always keep up to date by following our socials.

Troubleshooting

Whilst we do our very best to monitor every transaction, there may be an occasional mishap. If you believe you have received the incorrect cashback amount, please Contact Us with as much relevant information as you can. We will then do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as we can.

Unfortunately, you cannot earn cashback from two websites simultaneously. Therefore, using both Backify along with another cashback website will not double the amount of cashback you would expect to receive. Not only that, it could possibly completely invalidate your cashback with us. The cashback may only be offered by the platform you clicked on last.

To make sure your purchase is eligible for cashback only use coupons provided on Backify’s platform. Please check the cashback terms for each individual store to see if you can combine cashback and coupon codes. You can learn more about the reasons your cashback may be rejected in this help article.

All of your user and shopping data is securely stored on the Backify servers. If you were to accidentally remove the Extension/App, it would not affect your account or any of the cashback you have previously earned. However, if your computer stops working or you buy a new one, you may need to re-add the extension. If you need reminding on how to do this, please check out this help article.

Account support

If you are having trouble gaining access to your account, we would first recommend resetting your password. To do this, head on over to the ‘Login’ section on the website and simply click on the ‘Forgot Password?’ tab. When prompted to do so, enter your email address and click ‘Reset Password’; we will then send you an email straight away (be sure to check your spam/junk folder). If this doesn’t solve the problem, please Contact Us before creating a new account as we cannot transfer any cashback earned to a new account.

A member of our Support Team will aim to answer your query within one working day. Occasionally, when we experience high volumes of queries it may take longer for you to receive a response. Please bear with us during these times.

Whilst we try our best to process your claim swiftly, sometimes it is reliant on the retailer responding before we can provide an answer. They will need to check their records to find the transaction, and unfortunately, there are instances when it can take them a while. General questions

Unfortunately, if you have made a purchase without using Backify, there is no possible way for us to trace the transaction and we won’t be able to issue any cashback. We really don’t want you to miss out on any future cashback, so we recommend adding our extension to your browser to help automatically detect when you are visiting a store that has a current offer.

We use cookies to track your activity on Backify and what websites you have visited via our site. This is also the case for our partner sites. They will use cookies to determine whether or not you used Backify to shop with them and whether you will be issued cashback. Yes, you can! Backify allows users from around the globe to create an account and earn cashback from wherever they are. Please make sure that the store you shop at supports shipping to your location and doesn’t have special region-based restrictions. You should be aware that when shopping outside your region, there is a chance that your transaction might not be tracked. Advertisers may refuse to submit missing transactions due to it being from an unsupported region.

Browser extension

The Backify browser extension helps you find cashback opportunities while you shop online. When you visit a store where Backify offers cashback, the extension can notify you to activate the offer before you complete your purchase. Click “Activate,” continue shopping as usual, and your eligible cashback will be tracked through Backify. The extension can also highlight partner stores and available offers in Google search results, making it easier to spot cashback and deals before you even visit a store.

The Backify browser extension works with Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox. A Safari version is in progress and will be added once it is ready.

1. Install the extension * Chrome: grab it from the Chrome Web Store. * Edge: snag it in the Edge Add-ons Store. * Firefox: get it on Firefox Add-ons. 2. Pin the Backify icon for easy access Chrome or Edge: click the puzzle-piece Extensions icon, then hit the pin next to Backify. Firefox: the Backify icon usually appears on the toolbar right after install. If you don’t see it, open the overflow menu (») and drag it onto the toolbar. 3. Log in through the extension Click the Backify icon and log in with your account. You’re ready to start earning cashback. 4. Adjust settings whenever you like Need to tweak notifications or other options? Click the Backify icon, open the Settings tab inside the extension, and manage everything there. You stay in full control of how the extension works.

There are two common reasons: 1. Regional domain mismatch The extension looks for the store domain that matches your location. If you live in the United Kingdom but land on footlocker.com instead of footlocker.co.uk, the reminder will not appear. 2. Brand pop-up restrictions A few partner stores do not allow third-party pop-ups on their sites. When that happens, the reminder cannot show even though cashback is still available. If you ever reach a store page and the reminder is missing, open the Backify website, find the same store, and click "Shop & Earn Cashback" or "Activate" from there. Starting your visit through Backify sets up tracking correctly.

No. The extension only alerts you when coupons, deals, or cashback are available. You decide what to apply by clicking Activate (for cashback) or selecting a coupon. Nothing is added or tracked until you give your consent, so you stay in full control of every purchase.

The Backify browser extension needs certain browser permissions to detect supported partner stores, show cashback reminders, and help track eligible purchases. These permissions allow the extension to work only on relevant shopping pages where Backify offers cashback or deals.

Yes. You can disable or remove the Backify browser extension at any time through your browser settings. Backify also works directly through our website, so you can keep browsing stores, activating offers, and earning cashback without the extension.
