In this latest ecosystem update, we’re introducing further enhancements to the Console Connect platform, with new data centre deployments and expanded availability of cloud on-ramps across key global locations.

We’ve added new data centre locations in Lisbon and Miami, strengthening connectivity across major international routes. Lisbon is rapidly emerging as a leading data centre destination, thanks to its role as a critical submarine cable landing point linking Europe with Africa and the Americas, enabling efficient, low-latency data exchange. Meanwhile, Miami continues to serve as a vital interconnection gateway between North America and Latin America, making it an important hub for organisations that depend on fast, reliable connectivity to Central and South America and the Caribbean.

Additionally, new and upgraded cloud on-ramps are now available in Johannesburg, Ashburn and Paris. Among these, Johannesburg stands out as a rapidly growing cloud connectivity hub and a strategic gateway for digital transformation across Africa. As South Africa continues to establish itself as the continent’s largest cloud market, Johannesburg has attracted significant investment from leading hyperscalers, including AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, all of which have a strong local presence.

In line with this momentum, Console Connect's presence in Johannesburg enables enterprises to access high-performance, direct connectivity to leading cloud platforms. This supports organisations in building scalable hybrid and multi-cloud environments while maintaining low latency and strong performance across the region.
