First published thing ever, 20-year-old Kaluta had this second page (with the first page and other pages) published in the fanzine Graphic Showcase.  EOM was in the first 3 issues, and sump'n sweet had arrived on the comic art scene

 

Dig'n Me Some Steve Ditko

This is so spot on for me.  Years ago I was dig'n holes for fence posts, when I hit a massive rock.  As I worked to dig it out, I discovered it was a boulder (makes sense, as I was dig'n in Boulder).  When my hole got to be about this size, I decided to cut a post shorter so it looked like it was as deep as the other posts
