About Me

I am currently an Applied Scientist at Amazon. My research focuses on computer vision and deep learning, specifically vision-language models and preserving model performance under distribution shifts.

Prior to this, I received my Ph.D. from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Dept at Johns Hopkins University, where I was advised by Prof. Vishal M. Patel. I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Xidian University, under the supervision of Prof. Zhenxing Niu.

I have worked as a student researcher with Dr. Hossein Talebi, Dr. Keren Ye, Dr. Mauricio Delbracio, and Dr. Peyman Milanfar at Google Research; as a research intern with Dr. Saeed Amizadeh and Dr. Kazuhito Koishida at Microsoft Research; as a research intern with Dr. Yiding Yang, Dr. Haoxiang Li, and Dr. Gang Hua at Wormpex AI Research; and as a research assistant with Prof. Le Wang and Prof. Sanping Zhou at Xi’an Jiaotong University.

I have been an official Debian Developer since 2018. I am also an amateur photographer.
