Thank You so much for taking the time to share the how’s. I’ve been slugging it out trying to figure out how to develop a beautiful painting from life, and keep it spontaneous and beautiful. How to work with the models and the light etc… You’re Technical Insights are an answer to prayer! Thank You for being so generous!

Dan: I’m not a Bible-thumper. However, as age overtakes me, it is comforting to find something durable to hang on to. There is very little in this world of substance and truth, but the thoughts you mention are are solid and worth tucking away for future reference. Keep on keepin’ on.

Dan: Thank you so much for sharing your insights on the “Not Far from Home” paintings. The explanations of value and temperature changes are so much more meaningful when I can study the paintings as you refer to them in the blog. Taking your workshop a few years ago was a highlight of my life. Thank you so much for your willingness to share.
