Inspiration
We all have seen AI-enabled editors like Notion. But what we really need is specific help.
What it does
You can @-mention agents who are there to help you:
CleverCathy, your trusted writer MarketingMike, who makes your ugly prose more punchy ProofreaderPaul, who edits your grammar JokingJenny, who adds levity
How we built it
We wanted to use Novel.sh a new editing framework.
Challenges we ran into
Lots of fronted eng challenges around making comments and having agents work just like collaborative editors.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Have not polished the UI, but we've gotten the harder engineering challenges of modifying Novel to allow agent-based collaboration are now working.
What we learned
What's next for AgentDocs
Lots more experimentation polishing the UX and illustrating different agents/prompts that are useful. It's actually a functional editor that saves to local storage, so we could see making this available for others to play with, and to allow new agents to be added!
