An application where teachers can teach students with the help of AR. The AR can show students a 3D model of the image they scanned

Peardeck

A platform where teachers can invite students to join their presentation. There, the students can view slides and teacher can even question students through the platform

What it does

ARDeck is an application which teachers can use to represent something in AR. Teachers are able to create scenes which work like slides. In these scenes, teachers can drag and drop 3D models to replicate a historic battle scene, for example. Students can enter the link or scan a QR code to view the teachers' session. Teachers can then controller which scenes to show and move the models in the scene. Students can view these scenes in AR on their phone or tablet.

How we built it

We built the AR using EchoAR. EchoAr allows us to upload our models in EchoAR cloud and use the API provided to display the models in AR on the phone. EchoAR also allows users to post data, which he's in the communication of devices from teachers to students. We coded the AR features using the kits that Apple have provided. For the models, we made them in Blender.

Challenges we ran into

Coming up with an idea that we all agreed on that was able to solve the SDG and something we liked. Texturing our models. Keeping our sanity through the night.
