Ausum
Inspiration
Originally, we were thinking of making an app to help people gain self-confidence. From there, we decided to get our inspiration from the show Just for Laughs: Gags, a show where they pull random public pranks on people.
side note: Ausum is latin for dare

What it does
From this inspiration, we decided to build an app that challenges people to do random challenges in public. These random challenges come from a prompt-engineered AI, which we use to get our challenges. After completing these challenges, competitors are able to increase their score, which they can use to help keep track as an achievement for themselves. On top of this, we do hope that it will help the more introverted part of our community come out of their shell and gain communication skills.
Challenges we ran into
Starting off, our group definitely ran into a lot of challenges while creating our product. When we first got together, a few of us haven't meet each other, coming together, we had a hard time being able to agree on what project idea to use between devtools and comedy. After this, a few of our group members had some things going on outside, which really put our timeline on a crunch with what we're doing. Though, at the end of the day - I can definitely say that our group was definitely able to overcome these challenges and make a great product at the end of the day.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The greatest accomplishment, that we can definitely say, is our idea and our app's impact on the community. On top of that, it's definitely been a rough 24 hours with the many challenges we had with each other, though coming together to make such a great product is definitely what we're proud of.
What's next for Ausum?
Overall, we can definitely say that Ausum was definitely built to be very fulfilling, though there are some features that we'd definitely look forward to implementing. First of all, we'd definitely look forward to implementing a more sophisticated prompt generator so we have a more focused group target
