This app takes in a ID and returns data about it. It uses AWS DynamoDB to store data, AWS Lambda to get the data from the DynamoDB, and AWS API gateway to relay that data to Android Studio.

I wanted to create a tool that would tell providers how much money they made in a month, so that they can see how much money they are making

This app uses AWS technologies to retrieve data about cabs. I loaded the cab data into a DynamoDB. I learned about dynamoDB, since I have never used it before. I also learned about how the API gateway and Lambda functions work.

I built my project in Android Studio, and used AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and AWS API gateway. I got my data from the EastBanc cabs API.

Some challenges I faced were: When I started the hackathon, I wanted to use EastBanc TransitIQ to provide users with the closest bus to their location. I would use their latitude and longitude to do this. However, the GeoAreas API was not working, so I could not do this.

I also am only a freshman, and have no teammates. This was a huge disadvantage, since I am going to be facing some 4 person teams with way more experience.
