Inspiration

Characters inspire CharacterVerse many people say binary is the start of anything related to computing likewise, characters are the start of anything to represent in our human world

What it does

With Charverse code, u can see different types of ASCII arts

  1. ASCII image: it converts a standard image into an ASCII image
  2. image to ASCII text: it converts a standard image into an ASCII text which u can even copy and use
  3. Swimming text image: here, the text will move like fishes swimming in the ocean upon your image
  4. ASCII camera: here, it will turn on the webcam, and it shows real-time ASCII art

How we built it

We built our project by using html,css,javascript,p5js,github,google drive,cpanel

Challenges we ran into

We ran into many challenges. At first, we thought of developing a unity based application, but later I decided to change the thing as we didn't get a grip over the unity engine we ran into a hosting issue and tried hosting via GitHub, google, and Cpanel, and we ended up using all of them not got how to take an input image, so we used a single image. Anyways u can change it by changing the image file in the folder

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we finally built a real-time live ASCII art for the live video, which we can even copy onto the clipboard

What we learned

we learned some javascript and p5js we got to know how to host using google services we got to know how GitHub pages work

What's next for CharVerse

To take input from user and convert it into ASCII instead of static page To introduce lot more ASCII art tools into our site
