Inspiration

We both like having meaningful conversations. We noticed that we weren't perfect conversationalists and wanted to figure out a way to improve it. We also have parents who's first language isn't English and wanted to give them an opportunity to make sure they were able to communicate their thoughts properly.

What it does

Convers8 takes recordings of your meetings and analyzes them to tell you how to better speak with intent. It tracks filler words, interruptions, percentage speaking time, speaking speed, and gives an overall rating for each conversation. Later, it suggests improvements on how to become a better conversationalist. It also allows you to track your progress in conversationalism.

How we built it

We used React JS and Tailwind css to build the front end and connected to firebase for authentication and database. We ran our conversations through the analytics and sentiment API from Symbl AI.
