Inspiration

I wanted to make something related to education.

What it does

It's an Instagram world effect that displays a CPR dummy whose chest can be pumped and an information panel.

How I built it

I modified a 3d model I found on Sketchfab (https://skfb.ly/6PLWv) using Blender to make the dummy and to add the chest pumping animation. I brought it all together in SparkAR.

Challenges I ran into

I had to learn how to animate to implement the chest animation, and designing the UX was also a challenge.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud that I made an AR effect that would teach people something important.

What I learned

I learned to make an AR experience using the rear camera and also learned to animate in Blender.

What's next for Learn CPR

Adding more animations are being considered.
