Define

Inspiration

There was no easy way for me to quickly figure out what words like LMAO or LLS meant. All my friends were using said words and I was clueless. I was too lazy to take the multi step effort to open a new tab, type in the search bar, open urban dictionary, then again search for the word. Thats how I came up with Define. Define allows you to search every major dictionary, including the crowd favorite, Urbandictionary, and easily get your result in under two clicks.

How it works

1. Select the word or words you want to define with your mouse highlighter.
2. Right click after you've highlighted the text.
3. Mouseover the Define item in the context menu
4. Click on the Dictionary service you would like to use
5. Voila, in a new tab is the definition of the word you wanted! ## Challenges I ran into Figuring out how to make a chrome extension. I, however, was able to persevere through the help my friends and mentors. ## Accomplishments that I'm proud of I finished this project and it works! ## What I learned How to make Google Chrome Extensions!! ## What's next for Define Lets get that user base growing :)
