Inspiration

Introducing Echoz, a symphony of nostalgia tailored to be your perfect personal DJ, customizing the soundtracks that will help you “relive your musical echoz.” Immerse yourself in an audio time capsule where we curate the beats that defined your most memorable moments.

What it does

With Echoz, your musical journey becomes an artful expression of your memories. Choose your preferred genres, artists, and decades, and let Echoz transport you to those cherished moments in time. Because life is a symphony, and Echoz is here to help you conduct the soundtrack of your most memorable chapters.

How we built it

Using a variety of tools including the initial Figma prototype, followed by a React.js app using JavaScript, CSS, and Tailwind, alongside the web Spotify API, Echoz allows users to effortlessly customize their own playlists, adding an extra layer of personalization to the Echoz experience.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges included limitations on the web Spotify API for Echoz.

What's next for Echoz

Next steps for Echoz includes creating a sign-in page using the Auth0 tool, alongside integration of the front-end and back-end with the Mongoose database using Express.js.
