Inspiration

We were inspired by the bot workshop and decided to create a bot that included the Emotion API.

What it does

Using the Emotion API, it detects the most likely emotion in a photo and returns suggestions/advice to the user.

How we built it

It was built with Node.js, Azure Bot Framework, and the Cognitive Services Emotion API.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into some difficulty with set up and implementing our suggestions in different forms (image, video...etc).

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We completed the basic tasks that we wanted for each of the 8 given emotions.

What we learned

We learned how to start a bot.

What's next for Emotion Advisor

To implement more suggestions, a form/prompt to start a longer dialogue/conversation with the user.
