What it does

Ever needed to solve math quickly and didn't want to use your head or a calculator? Simply text a math query to +1 (805) MATH PLS and receive the result in an easily understandable format.

How we built it

We used a Node.js script that receives math via Twilio and calls the user and uses TTS to speak back the answer.

Challenges we ran into

Allergies and finding out that a TwiML cannot respond to a text with a call directly. Finding enough people that fit out target demographic.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Making a useful service using text messages. Finding a specific enough market.

Using the Twilio API.
