Inspiration

We noticed that while there are many wellness apps, few truly care for the mental and emotional well-being of users, especially students dealing with stress, academic pressure, or isolation. We wanted to create something that goes beyond tracking calories or steps—a companion that understands your body and your feelings.

That’s how Fiddy was born: A personalized AI-powered health assistant with a human touch. Designed by students, for students and beyond.

What it does

Fiddy brings together smart diet planning, customized workout recommendations, and emotional wellness through an empathetic chatbot called Pookie. It supports users with:

Diet Module Personalized diet charts based on user preferences (veg/non-veg), allergies (like lactose intolerance), and fitness goals. The plan adapts based on workout type too.

Workout Module Users select their preferred workout style (strength, cardio, yoga, etc.), and Fiddy provides curated YouTube tutorials and a daily/weekly fitness schedule.

Pookie – Emotional AI Companion A chatbot that talks like someone who truly loves and cares for you. Pookie listens, supports, encourages, and helps users cope with stress or loneliness—boosting mental wellness.

How we built it

We built it from scratch. We deeply researched what people need beyond physical fitness. Even me being personally into fitness had experience in this context. Hence this project is a blend of my _ Love and Passion _.

Challenges we ran into

Building an emotionally intelligent chatbot that doesn’t sound robotic took multiple prompt iterations and careful tone control.

Ensuring personalization without overwhelming users with too many questions.

Designing a UI that feels warm and welcoming, not clinical or overly gamified.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully integrated AI personalization across physical and mental wellness domains.

Created Pookie, an emotionally aware chatbot that truly feels like a supportive friend.

Built an app that makes health journeys kind, accessible, and emotionally safe.

Positive feedback from early testers who said “_ this feels like an app that cares. _”

What we learned

Tone matters when designing AI interactions for emotional support.

Students prioritize simplicity, empathy, and trust in wellness apps over features alone.

Combining Agentic AI with emotional design can lead to more impactful tech.

What's next for Fiddy

Adding Agentic automation: Let Fiddy order groceries, book virtual yoga/therapy sessions, or schedule breaks.

Integrating wearable support (Google Fit, Apple Health).

Launching a community feature for peer support and shared goals.

Expanding Pookie’s capabilities to include journaling, affirmations, and personalized check-ins.

Publishing Fiddy on Play Store and conducting user studies.
