Inspiration
We wanted to have a text analyzer that does more than just sentiment analysis, so we ended up making one that finds out what movie genre a conversation would fall into

How we built it
We built it using Python in general as well as FastText to help build the model. We worked on our own data cleaning it and making sure the data would fit into the different genres we ended up deciding one
Challenges we ran into
Merging the whole project was one of the challenges we ran into, as some unforeseen bugs arose. Luckily everything was fixed and we got the bot working again.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The bot works and provides people with different themes if they so desire it.
What we learned
How to work in a team, FastText, basic machine learning and deep learning, as well as how to make a bot in slack
What's next for Genrelizer
The future is bright, as we are planning on extending some of the basic functionalities we already have as well as improving on the data models that we have.
