Inspiration

I had difficulty forming a team for hackathons and wanted a website that could do it.

What it does

It lists the nearby and coming hackathons and allows a user to create profile and/or create a team to participate in a chosen hackathon.

How we built it

We used html/css/javascript to build the website.

Challenges we ran into

We did not know javascript or web dev in general. So we had to start with learning about the language. Time constraint was the number 1 challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We managed to create the general outline of the pages.

What we learned

We learnt javascript and web dev and how to use google as our resource.

What's next for HACKERBOOK

Creating the necessary features for creating profile and creating team. Then creating message function for the users to communicate with one another. As well as incorporating MLH API.
