Inspiration
After looking at the different challenges and seeing how open-ended State Farm's was, I attempted to find a solution to something State Farm is related to: Insurance. Personally, I find it confusing and I know many college students who do as well, so creating this product was a no-brainer since it would be so useful for many students
What it does
The user files a claim on the app and then is connected with someone who has already gone through the process of successfully filing and gaining help from the app. This insures the mentor has credible experience that we can verify and also provides the user to the best resources
How we built it
Originally, my team used Javascript, but as we ran into troubles, I ended up switching to an app so I would be able to create a working version within the timeframe
Challenges we ran into
What frameworks to use and what exactly to build. Eventually, I settled on creating an app as I had the most experience in that and had limited time. Also, my teammates leaving early caused me to reevaluate my process.
