Color-blind overlay example.
Inspiration
Color blindness is a large issue in multiple communities worldwide. Web browsers are the most commonly used tool on a daily basis. How could we be incapable of supporting the union of both items.
What it does
Creates an overlay based on the users type of color-blindness to ensure maximum efficiency during web-browsing periods.
How I built it
Using standard web-development practice with HTML5,CSS3, JavaScript, & jQuery. Only supports Chrome at the moment but this is going to be expanded on.
Challenges I ran into
Manifest 2 came out, and we didn't realize. Last time we worked with Chrome extensions was a few years ago.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Finished a social impact project with serious potential in merely 36 hours.
What I learned
More about web-development practice, the importance of co-ordinating with a team, and reading documentation.
