Inspiration

Kutimo (Habit, or custom in the esperanto language) is inspired by zen art and pacific imagery.

What it does

It is a tracker that allows you to create and manage your habits through a minimalist, cute interface. Track your growth alone or with other people.

How we built it

Built using Oracle's APEX, Kutimo is the result of 24 hours of hard work and continuous learning.

Challenges we ran into

We had never used APEX before, so we had to learn on the go. The management for the making of the UI particularly posed a challenge, as we had to learn how to further customize components.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Even though we didn't know how to use the system, we were able to come up with a finished product of which we could be proud because of all the things we managed to add onto it.

What we learned

Collaboration, patience, and a whole new way to develop products in an interface. We learned a lot about APEX specifically and its helpful additions.

What's next for Kutimo

The team has decided to leave Kutimo as a learning experience.
