Invent:YU

We needed a solution to the problem of having to pay for things we only use once. Thus, Local Lending was born. It is a platform open to anyone who needs something temporarily, and doesn't want to pay for it, only to use it once.
You can search for items that other people are willing to share and offer your own items all on an extremely user-friendly and convenient platform.

We meant to use the domain.com domain that we registered; however, we were informed that the DNS would not propagate in time. ( http://locallending.org )

I worked on writing the backend in Python to communicate with the MySQL database

I created many of the frontend pages, setting up forms to communicate user input to the backend. I also helped create the cookie system that keeps users logged in.

I worked on the frontend, as well as implementing Python's Flask as our backend. I worked with our SQL script makers to update our database and query information based off of user actions on the frontend.
