Inspiration

The inspiration came from the repetitive and time-consuming nature of rephrasing and summarizing tasks in daily life. We wanted to create a tool that leverages generative AI to simplify text-related work and boost productivity for users.

What it does

Our Chrome Extension automates text rephrasing, summarization, and context-aware content generation. Users can summarize articles, rewrite text to match specific styles, craft concise emails, and replace text intelligently by analyzing the webpage context—all with just a few clicks.

How we built it

We built the extension using Chrome's Summarization API and integrated the Gemini Generative AI Model for text processing. The extension's frontend is designed for seamless user interaction, while the backend leverages AI to deliver accurate and context-aware results.

Challenges we ran into

• Balancing AI response time with user expectations for instant results.
• Integrating APIs and models while maintaining lightweight performance for the extension.
