Inspiration

As adults transitioning to the corporate world, many new grads such as ourselves are left confused and lost on what the several different benefits offered by a company are, and how to improve communication across the workplace. Sometimes they get a packet of information that seemed to be very confusing at first glance until these benefits are read thoroughly. As part of the next generation, having a handbook that easily breaks down information like retirement plans or learning how to thrive in a company would help anyone succeed stress-free.

What it does

There are two parts to this app. Knowing what to expect and how to select these incentives could be challenging, which is why TrueVise could be the only app that formats these benefits in an easier way. This mobile app can be used by current employers and employees of any company and for guest users who are simply curious about how Employee Benefits work. Simply logging in or proceeding as a guest can lead you to a plethora of information regarding Health Benefits, PTO, Parental Leave, Sick Days, and 401k assets. On the other side, the app has a section where users can submit goals and feedback to their employer. By doing so, there would be proper communication between employer-employee and can be used as a guideline for their one-on-one weekly sessions.

How we built it

We built this app by creating a framework via Figma.

Challenges we ran into

Due to limited technical knowledge, we were not able to complete any coding aspects of the development.

Designing and understanding more profound aspects of building a framework that accurately depicts what the app can look like.

What we learned

We learned a lot about Figma and developing a framework.

What's next for TrueVise

Certain buttons do not lead to pages that talk more about what is listed there. In the future, we would implement these pages as well. As we gain more technical developer knowledge, we plan to create this as an actual app. We would want to collaborate with companies so that we could tailor to their preferences and specific policies. We wish to elaborate more on employer-employee communication and provide a way for new hires to understand how they can build their networking skills within the company.
