💡 Inspiration

  • We wanted to make sure healthcare was accessible 🏥, ensuring it was easy to use in just a click of a few buttons 🔘

  • After usually doing an x-ray scan/MRI or even checking for any abnormality, we want to click an image and get it checked immediately, it sometimes becomes hard to ensure that we get an appointment with a doctor on time 😞

  • This then led us to make this website where we have an AI agent 🤖 trained specifically to analyze the images uploaded and let the patient know the result 🎉

  • We also wanted to make sure it was a convenience to schedule appointments 📅 so that one can carry the report generated by the AI agent to immediately get consulted with a doctor on the nearest available date 🏥📆

  • In addition to that, since getting medicines after a doctor's visit can be exhausting, our lil Medpal 🤖 takes in an image uploaded, reads the prescription 📜 and helps the patient/user place an order 🛒 (We all know how hard it is to read a doctor's writing ✍️)

Authentication👨‍🦳:

  • No third party authentication, hence secured by Realm 🍃
  • Authentication with API🍃
  • Additional e-mail verification feature included ✅

Health Stat 🤖:

  • Houses a custom-trained AI agent 🤖 that detects the likelihood of diagnosis/disease based on the image uploaded 📷
  • Tracks the history of analysis performed, with the ability to download and include them in the report 📈, powered by MongoDB Atlas with its serverless MongoDB query execution 🍃

MedPal 🤖:

  • Appointments Scheduling
    • Helps schedule appointments in a few clicks ⏰
    • Convenient user interface for ease of use 🖥️
    • Allows users to add desired doctor, date and time for appointment scheduling 🗓️
    • Syncs with the calendar 📆
  • Ordering Prescribed Meds
    • Upload prescription to our MedPal for a quick order of prescribed medicines 💊
    • Lists medicines available in the nearest store and provides the ability to edit/customize the order 🛒
    • Smart scheduling feature ensures user gets meds before the current order is exhausted ⏳

Calendar Sync 🗓️:

  • All the appointment details and medicine details are fetched through serverless MongoDB query execution made possible through MongoDB Atlas and synced with the calendar
  • Additionally, the calendar is editable and also gives reminders of scheduled diagnosis appointments 🔔

History 📂:

  • Stores all generated reports for safekeeping, powered by MongoDB Atlas 🍃
  • Allows users to easily navigate through reports for different doctors and purposes 🚶‍♀️

Profile 👨‍🦳:

  • Using MongoDB Atlas🍃, the data about the patient is stored on our site 📷
  • Keeps track of all the essential information, all in one place📈

Factopedia 📚:

  • Provides gentle reminders on essential health advice 💡
  • Each advice is linked to a research article for further reading 🔗

Emergency 🆘:

  • Provides access to emergency numbers and resources on the go 📞
  • Ensures medical emergencies are always a top priority for users 🚑

Prognostics 📊:

  • Allows users to enter lifestyle information for feedback on areas that need improvement 📝
  • Data managed and stored by MongoDB Atlas 🍃 with its serverless MongoDB query execution
  • AI agent adds gentle reminders on the calendar for improvement and provides occasional tips on how to improve lifestyle 📅

🏁 Challenges we ran into

  • Unfortunately for us, we had our classes on both the weekends, we felt like we wouldn't be able to participate with only 24 hours left in hand ⌚

  • While trying to make our project feature packed, the time management definitely bit us constantly, the idea of the whole project almost took 5 hours, therefore only giving use less than 19 hours to code

  • Implementing, learning about Artificial Intelligence along with its integration was completely new for all of us, but, turned out to be something definitely worth learning 🤖

  • The UI design definitely was hard, plus we were struggling to integrate the AI features into UI well, despite all of that we were able to make a deliverable and functioning product 🦾

  • Despite the time crunch, we were able to make a fully functional product ⚒️

  • Learn to manage our time between classes and coding, it was definitely hard but so worth it 💖
