Inspiration
We wanted to create an easy app for users that would keep all of their immediate medical information in one place, while also allowing them to search for new prescriptions and doctors depending on their current symptoms. The potential app also features a calendar function and an ability to check possible drug interactions.
What it does
The potential app keeps the user's information organized in one place providing suggestions depending on current symptoms and medications.
How we built it
We built the mockups using the adobe xd program and then used provided plugins to translate the mockups into the Android Studio code.
Challenges we ran into
The main challenge is the one you cannot see, when we tried to translate our visual data into physical code we ran into quite a few hiccups, including paywalls and buggy programming. It was also two of our members' first time at a hackathon.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We managed to get a fully cohesive look of what we want our app to be and look like along with how we would connect the search functions to the internet directly.
What we learned
We learned how to use adobe xd, how to transfer data and how to plan potential websites and apps.
What's next for MediReady
We'd like to be able to get a system to work cohesively enough where it would be able to connect users directly to their doctors so that they may set appointments and fill prescriptions via the app.
