In the spirit of the team of Stanford researchers who, three years ago, pioneered the use of computer vision in helping diagnose melanoma, I worked on a way to make such computer aided diagnostics more available to the world. Google's Firebase platform provides a great way to make deep learning models such as this one scalable to the point of being usable on mobile devices.
