Text message services, like twitter, to share data and chatbots to rout people looking for information to online services.

What it does

Connects people who have cell phones to information on building and maintain safe economical DIY homes through text messages.

How we built it

Analyzed the problem thorough stakeholder consultations, co-designed a solution and built it using chatbot technology.

Challenges we ran into

Understanding the problem clearly, programming the chatbot to respond to natural language and making it easy to use for low literacy.

Using an old tech to achieve better results across a broader populations. All nighters yet still living

What we learned

Accessibility is key, data in developing countries is expensive. Literacy in the target population is low.

What's next for N11

Expanding geographically, providing analytics on project types that are in demand.
