The idea for this project arose from a real-life experience: the loss of a pet by a member of Null Pointer. From this situation, we developed a mobile application aimed at fostering community support to help locate lost pets.

The application allows users to report lost pets and view these reports on an interactive map, displaying nearby locations and an estimated range where the pet may be found. In this way, people who have the app installed can actively collaborate in the search, increasing the chances of reunification.

The project was developed as a cross-platform mobile application using React Native with Expo Go, JavaScript, and the Google Maps API, leveraging geolocation and satellite view to provide clear, real-time information on both iOS and Android devices.

During development, we faced technical challenges such as database connectivity, application build generation, and asset management, as well as challenges related to team organization and idea prioritization.

This project represents an achievement for the team, as we transformed an idea into a functional solution through collaborative work, gaining technical knowledge and strengthening teamwork skills that we consider essential for developing technology-driven solutions with social impact.
