Have you ever imagined that you were a musical note flying through space, dodging asteroids, and collecting stars? Yes? No? ... Well this is the game for you! 🔥

Otamachamp is a game run on the browser. Players play an otamatone (an instrument) to control an otamatone in game. The game uses microphone input, analyzes pitch/volume, and moves the player accordingly.

We made it using JavaScript, React.js, and Three.js.

Why the name?

Otamachamp is a portmanteau, combining the words Otamatone and Champ.

The Otamatone is a quirky instrument in the shape of a musical note.

⚠️ Warning: although the game is intended to be played with an otamatone, we impose no limits on what other musical instrument you use... Including your voice. 🎤
