What it does
Play's competitive pokémon matches, learning and improving its play as it goes
How we built it
We used a webdriver through python to control the online pokémon showdown interface. A neural network was implement to control our game agents moves in a match
Challenges we ran into
Finding and interacting with elements on a webpage. Figuring out whether or not our AI won a match (there is no pop up "you win" dialog box)
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Implementing a system that allows multiple AI agents to play against each other and iterate on their decision making
What we learned
Machine learning stuff and how to programatically control a webpage
What's next for Pokébot
Designing its own teams and operating outside of the ranom battle environment
