QuakeX

Inspiration

We wanted to build an app that could help save lives. There were so many people, among my family, friends and acquaintances who have seen catastrophes taking lives, and we wanted to prevent that.

What it does

Helps prepare and safely evacuate during an earthquake depending on a particular situation. In case of an Earthquake, the app will consider the magnitude and suggest users whether to remain in the house or to evacuate

Challenges I ran into

Difficulty incorporating MapKit and Uber API integrations.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

My team dedicated themselves to solve a major problem and save lives.

What's next for QuakeX

Better integrations and optimizations with APIs.

Specifically, in the upcoming version, rescuers will be able to locate people trapped in houses during natural disasters.
