Inspiration
Quorum tries to facilitate and engage widespread social/political conversations. In today's social climate, I think it's important more than ever to hold meaningful conversations with one another.
What it does
Users can join groups of interest related to different social movements or political issues and have discussions with one another on the platform.
How I built it
I used Flutter, Google Cloud Firestore and the Stream API.
Challenges I ran into
Some challenges that I ran into was connecting to Google Firestore. This took way longer than I expected.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of & What I learned
I had a lot of fun making this and learning more about Flutter and Google Cloud products!
Improvements
There is so much room for improvement. I think adding multiple chat rooms within an issue would be great. I also think having a system to fact check during conversations would be great.
