📄 Abstract

We know that after the introduction of e-commerce. India has become one of the leading nations across the world but the current e-commerce sites such as Amazon, Flipkart, etc don't provide equal and ample opportunities to every seller or to the sellers who run their businesses from small-town. Many times the small town vendors are being overshadowed by the big town vendors as they have more resources.

🗒️ Introduction

Our project aims to provide an end-to-end hyperlocal platform to connect local entrepreneurs with customers within their location and equipping them with tools to bring their services online and find customers quickly and easily. Our app will look out for required vendors within 5 to 15 Kms first so that every small vendor in the town gets opportunities.

🔑 KEY FEATURES OF THE APP

  • The app will allow the customer to create a list based on his needs.
  • In that list, the customer can set his estimated delivery date and time.
  • That list will be circulated to all the shop keeper or vendors in a radius of 5 Km first and if none of the shopkeepers can fulfill the customer's need then we will look out in a further km of radius.

Steps To Use The App

  • Turn on dark mode on your phone(compulsory)
  • Open the Apk file
  • Register through your Gmail id
  • Then log in as a buyer
  • Make a new list
  • Then submit the list
  • After submitting the list log out and again log in as the vendor to see the nearby requests ### 🌈 BUSINESS MODEL
  • Analytics and data sharing with e-commerce companies.
  • Partnering with delivery and logistics company for the last mile deliveries.
  • Charging service fee from the manufacturers/suppliers when they make a bulk sale through LOCARO ### FUTURE PROSPECT
  • Post covid, it is not that safe to export products from state or countries, here is when our app comes into the picture.
  • Locally exported products delivered with utmost safety from LOCARO.
