Inspiration

Sidd was lonely and wanted to check his compatibility in hopes of finding love <3

• in all seriousness, we were browsing rapidapi and found this cool api

What it does

• Connects to the Love Calculator API
• Displays a super cool emoji rain depending on your compatibility score!
• You can go back and enter as many people as you want without refreshing the page!

How we built it

• React JS frontend
• Automated deploying on GitHub Pages using GitHub Actions
• API Key secrets masked using GitHub Action Secrets
• Protected production branch workflow enabled using GitHub Pull Requests and Issues

Challenges we ran into

• General merge conflicts
• React is a struggle to grasp sometimes
• Emoji rain sometimes didn't rain :( (fixed)
