Inspiration

We wanted to learn to drive stick shift but didn't have a car or someone who knew how to drive to teach us. Enter TakeUp.

What it does

Pairs "students" with "teachers" for a variety of activities/hobbies.

How I built it

We used Javascript, HTML, CSS, and a Django template

Challenges I ran into

Development setup, and deciding what technologies to use.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Beautifully designed landing page, and very good understanding of bootstrap.

What I learned

How to set up the development stack even though we didn't end up using it (yet).

What's next for TakeUp

Finish the rest of the web app, and hopefully move towards a mobile app.
