Inspiration
Sometimes it's hard to start work on task. Sometimes the task seems to big or too complicated to even think about finishing it. TaskWhiz is here to help!
What it does
It helps to understand the problem, then can help in breaking it down into smaller pieces and manageable chunks of work which needs to be done.
How we built it
With Forge UI kit and lots of trials and errors ;)
Challenges we ran into
Changing approach when Forge UI kit was not enough. Efficient prompting is not so easy to achieve
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It works! That's the most important, it will help us in daily work. From everyday work to brainstorming new ideas!
What we learned
Coding is fun, coding with AI is not that fun at the beginning, but when things 'click', it is super fun again. Sometimes good prompt can cover edge cases or ignore some specific stuff, it might be easier to explain what we are trying to achieve then try to wrap it in code
What's next for TaskWhiz
It is a PoC, but app can do much more, here are some low hanging fruits:
- App could become a project/global assistant. It would have to gain some insights on the project, or global configuration and be aware of all the related important things that are happening around issues.
- When it comes to 'actors' in issue, app should also consider the project roles to add some weights to the importance of comments or last changes.
- Some actions should run by default and work in the background without users even thinking about it.
- There should be also some lvl of usage control and optimization for prompts.
- App also needs to be aware of change events and allow to re-evaluate previous results
- Responses need to be cached for easier reference
- There could be some settings for prompt improvements
- Ability to configure which fields should be analyzed
Future is bright ^^
