Inspiration

We wanted a way to make money from VPS services outside of direct payments to us, so we though what if we put ads, in a terminal!

What it does

Ads integrated in the shell

How we built it

Go for the shell + adserver, python for the inference model, with unix / TCP sockets for communication

Challenges we ran into

Getting the inference models setup, learning new languages, UNIX sockets, integration hell...

Accomplishments that we're proud of

making a functional shell in 45m! Insanely fast and very accurate inference in under 5ms

Go, UNIX sockets, BERT, joblib, NLPs in general, REST APIs
