💡Inspiration
If you are single then this Valentine's day don't feel bored being in your homes. Celebrate it by playing some of your most favourite childhood games!
⚙️What it does
Trucos is an amalgamation of not only 1 but 4 different games.
1. Tetris
Tetris is the addictive puzzle game that started it all, embracing our universal desire to create order out of chaos. The Tetris game was created by Alexey Pajitnov in 1984—the product of Alexey’s computer programming experience and his love of puzzles. In the decades to follow, Tetris became one of the most successful and recognizable video games, appearing on nearly every gaming platform available.
-The goal of this game is to prevent the blocks from stacking up to the top of the screen for as long as possible.
2. Tic-tac-toe
Tic-tac-toe, is a digital game between the computer & human, who take turns marking the spaces in a three-by-three grid with X or O. The player who succeeds in placing three of their marks in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row is the winner
3. Memory Game
Test your memory with this memory game. It helps improve brain functions, such as attention, concentration, and focus.
4. Flappy bird
Use your spacebar to get started. Fly the bird as far as you can without hitting a pipe. The game is a side-scroller where the player controls a bird, attempting to fly between columns of green pipes without hitting them
⚙️How we built it
We have used HTML, CSS & JavaScript to develop the 4 games and the website landing page.
💪Challenges we ran into
Logic setting for the games were difficult (had to refer video tutorials, blogs). But it all came out to be fruitful at the end.
🏆Accomplishments that we're proud of
A single game is exciting to make, so making four of them is certainly a momentous occasion. We are super proud to have built the games within the stipulated time period. Also, we learnt a lot of skills through this hackathon, which will be useful going forward.
📚What we learned
We have learnt how to set logic of games & many more amazing CSS & JS concepts.
