Inspiration
As college students, we try to save the most money and uSave is the best way to do it.
What it does
It is an location-based marketing application that allows students with verified credentials to be able to have the quickest access to promotional deals.
How we built it
Using the Google API, we were able to find the current location and display surrounding businesses subscribed to uSave that displays the existing promotional deals. HTML, CSS was used to design the user interface while PHP and MYSQL where used to access to the database that grabs the information from the businesses.
Challenges we ran into
We had a lot of problems with the notification system and were not able to implement it into uSave.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to create beautiful display of uSave using web technology. Luckily we were able to make uSave functional displaying the discounts

What's next for uSave
With more time, we will be able to successfully connect the notification system and increase the number of businesses.
