This is wallARt in action:
The artist is commissioned to decorate walls in a public place. The artist arrives to the place, uses Quest to "record" the space - the sizes and relative positions of the surfaces to be decorated/painted on.
The artist leaves one Quest unit at the place.
The artist "takes that space home" and in collaboration with other artists they create the designs in XR, applying it to the walls of the place.
When the design is done, it is sent to the place owner who can use the Quest and view the designs applied to the space in XR. The owner can approve and comment on the designs.
When all is approved, the artists comes back to the space and uses Quest to view the digital stencils and outlines of the designs while applying real paint/spray/chalk to the real wall. Viewing the digital design superimposed on the real surface allows a much quicker application time, eliminating the need to step away from the wall to verify the real lines and shapes match the intended design.
