web3evo Platform - Project Story

Inspiration

The idea behind web3 Evolved was inspired by the need to bridge the gap between learning, participation, and tangible rewards in the web3 space. While there are many staking platforms, few offer ways to truly incentivize users to engage in learning and community growth. We wanted to build a system that rewards users not just for staking, but for active participation in ways that can be measured and rewarded transparently. Reputation NFTs became our solution to track and reward engagement, giving users the ability to build their reputation while contributing to the success of the ecosystem.

What it does

The web3evo Platform, in its current MVP form, allows users to interact with a Metagraph on the Hypergraph network and mint standard NFT data. The long-term vision is to enhance this by adding Reputation NFTs, which will dynamically track users' contributions to the platform, such as learning, promotion, and community engagement. These NFTs will update in real-time through an API and provide access to exclusive rewards based on user reputation.

Additionally, companies will eventually be able to use a low-code/no-code environment to create their own Reputation NFT collections, linking their own APIs to track custom engagement metrics relevant to their projects.

How we built it

We started by building a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that demonstrates the ability to create a Metagraph and mint standard NFT data on the Hypergraph network. The MVP includes the foundational infrastructure to expand the platform's capabilities in the future. The Hypergraph was chosen for its end-user feeless structure, scalability and security, allowing us to build on a robust, decentralized framework.

The next steps in development will focus on enabling dynamic NFTs with real-time data integration, followed by building the Reputation NFTs system, where reputation scores are tracked and updated based on user activities.

Challenges we ran into

During the MVP phase, one of the biggest challenges was learning how to build on Constellation Network. Once the Euclid SDK was setup we were able to build our Metagraph and website to communicate together and ensure the minting of NFT collections was successful.

Looking ahead, we anticipate further challenges when implementing Reputation NFTs. Real-time data updates while maintaining core NFT immutability is a technical hurdle we are preparing to address. Additionally, ensuring that the low-code/no-code interface is user-friendly while being powerful enough for project creators presents both design and development challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of successfully completing the MVP, which showcases the basic functionality of the platform. The ability to create a Metagraph and mint NFTs lays the groundwork for the larger vision of the project. Another accomplishment is the design of the future Reputation NFT system, which we believe will revolutionize how engagement is tracked and rewarded in web3 ecosystems as well as legacy businesses.

What we learned

The MVP development taught us the importance of building a scalable foundation. By focusing on core functionality early, we’ve set ourselves up to easily integrate more complex features like dynamic NFTs and Reputation NFTs later on. We also learned that community involvement is crucial in the web3 space; building features that users find meaningful will be key to the platform’s long-term success.

What's next for web3 Evolved

Looking forward, the next phase involves enhancing the MVP to enable users to purchase and sell standard L0 NFTs and prepare for the platform’s MainNet launch. We will then focus on implementing dynamic NFTs that allow real-time data updates, unlocking a wide range of applications.

After that, the Reputation NFT system will be built, providing users with a way to track and showcase their contributions to the platform. Companies will be able to create custom API integrations using a low-code/no-code solution, allowing them to track and reward engagement in a way that fits their community’s needs.

web3evo is on track to evolve into a fully dynamic web3 ecosystem, with rewards, reputation, and community building at its core.
