Inspiration
X-Wallet was inspired by the idea of eliminating credit fraud and putting freedom into the user's hands.
What it does
X-Wallet allows users to create multiple cards, which would be connected to your bank account, and buy subscriptions, programs, merchandise, etc. The idea of using multiple cards gives the users freedom to what they want to purchase, they do not have to be bound to "safe" purchases. In addition to freedom, the cards allow users to lend their cards, with a fixed balance, to other people, for example, your children.
How we built it
We built X-Wallet using React Native for the frontend mobile framework, alongside MongoDB and Python APIs for the backend, which manages the user card data.
Challenges we ran into
Coming up with a unique fintech idea was something that took the largest chunk of our time, alongside getting communication between the API and React Native
