The Subscriptions tab in User Registration & Membership gives you a centralized view of all active and inactive membership subscriptions on your site.
From this dashboard, you can track subscription status, review associated members and plans, update subscription details, and manage expirations.
To access the Payments section from your WordPress Dashboard,
Go to User Registration & Membership → Subscriptions.

Subscription Dashboard #
The Subscription Dashboard displays a table of all subscriptions created on your site, whether they are free, paid, active, or canceled.

Each row in the table includes:
- Subscription ID
- Member
- Membership Plan
- Created At
- Status (Active, Pending, or Canceled)
Search Subscriptions #
At the top right of the dashboard, you will find a search bar that allows you to quickly find subscriptions.

You can search using:
- Username
- Member email address
This is useful when managing subscriptions for a specific member.
Bulk Actions #
The Subscriptions table supports bulk actions to help you manage multiple records efficiently.
To perform a bulk action:
- Select one or more subscriptions using the checkboxes.
- Choose Delete from the bulk actions dropdown.
- Click Apply.

This is helpful when cleaning up test subscriptions or removing invalid records.
Sorting Subscriptions #
You can sort subscriptions directly from the table by clicking on the column headers.

Sortable columns include:
- Subscription ID
- Member
- Membership
- Created At
- Status
Clicking a column header toggles between ascending and descending order.
Managing Subscriptions #
Clicking on any subscription from the table opens the Edit Subscription screen, where you can review details and make changes.

Edit Subscription Screen #
The Edit Subscription screen provides a complete overview of the selected subscription along with administrative controls.

Subscription Details
This section shows the membership associated with the subscription, including:
- Subscription Status
- Membership plan
- Membership Type (One-Time, Recurring)
- Price

This helps you quickly identify what the subscriber is enrolled in.
Payment Details
Displays payment-related information linked to the subscription, including:
- Amount
- Billing cycle
- Payment ID
- Subscription ID (If applicable)

Member Actions
The Member Actions panel shows the username and email address of the subscribed member.
From here, you can:
- Edit Member – Open the member’s profile
- Delete Subscription – Permanently remove the subscription record

Subscription Status
The Status field allows you to control the current state of the subscription.

Available statuses include:
- Active – The subscription is currently valid, and access is granted
- Pending – The subscription has been created but is not yet active
- Trial – The subscription is in a trial period with temporary access
- Expired – The subscription has reached its end date, and access has endedCanceled – The subscription was manually or automatically terminated
After making changes, click Update to save them.
Expiry Date
The Expiry Date field lets you manually set or update when a subscription should end.
This is useful for:
- Granting temporary access
- Manually extending subscriptions
- Correcting incorrect expiration dates
Click the calendar icon to select a date.

Activity Log (Subscription Events)
The Activity Log records important events related to the subscription, such as:
- Subscription creation
- Status changes

Each entry includes a timestamp, helping you track the subscription’s history.
Editing a Subscription (Changing Status) #
To update a subscription’s status:
- Open the subscription from the Subscriptions table.
- Locate the Status field on the right.
- Select the required status from the drop-down list.
- Click Update to save changes.

This allows you to manually control access without modifying the membership plan itself.
Deleting a Subscription #
To delete a subscription:
- Open the subscription record.
- Click Delete Subscription from the Member Actions panel.
- Confirm the deletion.

Deleted subscriptions are permanently removed and cannot be restored.
Adding a Subscription Manually #
You can manually create a subscription directly from the Subscriptions overview page. This is useful when you need to grant membership access without checkout, migrate users from another system, or create trial or complimentary subscriptions.
To add a manual payment:
- Go to User Registration & Membership → subscriptions.
- Click Add New.

This opens the Create Subscription screen.

On the Create Subscription screen, provide the following details:
- User: Search and select a user by username or email.
- Membership Plan: Choose the membership plan to assign.
- Billing Amount: Enter the subscription amount.
- Payment Gateway (optional): Select the gateway if the subscription is linked to an external payment.
- Billing Cycle: Choose the billing cycle, if applicable.
- Start Date: Select when the subscription should begin.
- Expiry Date: Define when the subscription should end.
- Status: Set the initial subscription status:
- Pending
- Trial
- Active
- Expired
- Canceled
- Subscription ID (optional): Enter an external subscription or transaction ID (for example, a Stripe subscription ID).
After reviewing the details, click Create in the top-right corner. The subscription will be added and appear in the Subscriptions table.
