The leading minds in the cryptocurrency space are joining over 300 hackers from around the world to collaborate together on decentralized applications using Ethereum. With an exponential increase in adoption, developer interest, and other teams building on top of Ethereum, there has never been a better time to be a part of the community building Web 3.0.
This is an event for hackers and developers that want to be a part of the decentralized future. We'll bring together industry experts, companies pushing the way forwards in this space, and handle all the event details; all you need to do is come prepared to learn fast and ready to build something great.
Eligibility
- Teams must have no more than 4 hackers, who are all physically in attendance
- No age or educational restrictions on hackers
- No geographic restrictions on hackers
Requirements
- Your hack must be related to Ethereum
- You cannot work on your project before the event begins
- You cannot steal another team's source code
- All code required to run your project must be submitted
Prizes
0x Project
0x Project will award two prizes, one prize to the team with the most innovative of the of 0x protocol, and one prize to the team with the most compelling prototype using the 0x protocol. Consensys

Toshi

MakerDAO
MakerDAO will award from a prize pool of 50 MKR prizes to the teams that have the most innovative use cases, solid MVPs, and compelling product visions.
Overall Winner
ETHWaterloo does not have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team. The Overall Winners are the top 8 teams as selected by the judges.
