About the challenge

What is a Game Jam?
  • 24 hour event
  • Work in a team to create a video game
  • Demo at the end, judge each other's projects, and win prizes
 

Get started

  • Think small – your project doesn't have to be ground-breaking!
  • Get everyone involved – sometimes it's tempting to take on all the work yourself, but you will get there much faster by delegating.​
  • Make use of online resources - There are tons of amazing tutorials out there which can get you to grips with any aspect of game development.​
  • We havve people in the building that can help if you guys need accistant

Requirements

What to build

  • Godot, PyGame, GameMaker, RPG Maker games (Even scratch!)​
  • Unity or Unreal Engine games​
  • Online HTML5 games​
  • Gameplay mods for existing games (including ROM Hacks)

What not to build

  • Simple reskins of existing games, with none of your own code​
  • Games containing themes which may be offensive or inappropriate​
  • Games which use assets which are not properly credited​
