Hi there! We are Feldroy, the indie research lab run by Daniel and Audrey Roy Greenfeld. We are currently experimenting with combining bleeding edge web development ideas and AI, rethinking the future of web development.

Your support matters so much to us. First, it gives us the confidence to believe in ourselves, that we're on the right track. Second, it allows us to cover some of our costs. Running community sprints, printing stickers, making t-shirts for sprint leads, hosting, traveling to speak and meet important collaborators, and basic living expenses cost a bit more than we'd like.

Our dream is to build a truly great web framework with everyone's help. To do this, we want to continue building Air as a long-term grassroots community effort, without having to take on investors or consulting work. We want to keep our focus on having fun building the parts of Air that make it awesome, and to do this we must keep our art pure, our feature prioritization natural and intuitive, and our coding time free of enterprise sales pressure.

At some point we hope to launch a product to help sustain our work on Air, but we're not there yet. Basic foundational pieces need to be built. Every time we try to build a product, we realize an important piece of Air is missing and we return to working on Air core. Eventually we will have enough pieces for this, but in the meantime we could really use your support.

We can't make specific promises about what you'll get in return, but just know that we will be kind and thoughtful about helping you if you sponsor us, while doing our best not to compromise on our values.
