Wonder why… maybe I’m too poor to buy any new kit out there… XD or maybe there’s nothing interesting out there? Hmm… I think I’d changed in the way I increase my collection… recently will think twice before getting a Gunpla… part of it is because recently the Gunpla price had increase a little bit (mainly for the MGs in my opinion), but that will not be the major issue, rather it is about the time I have for me to put all my heart into building the kit. When time is not that sufficient, people will easily slack off and don’t have the motivation and momentum to carry on the work…
Anyway, I will get a 00 QanT into my collection, still wondering to get the MG or the HG (most probably will be the HG), and looking forward to welcome GN-X MG into my collection as well (Ok, I fed up waiting for the A-Laws version). These are the two kits that I will get in near future. While I will get my hands on the Strike Freedom MG as well for custom made project (shall I leave it as a debut kit for local competition? Hmm…)
Well, the next project that most likely for me to kick start will be Custom Made GN-X HG… got some rough idea on what I want to do, but still need to work things out slowly. Hope that I can improve my skills better this time in order to have more confidence in custom build my Strike Freedom MG.

Review: Char’s Zaku II RG
This will be my second and last review for today… Zaku RG… well, if you can still recall that I have a lot of complain on RG RX78-2 Gundam before this in my previous review… and now, I still have the same old complain on this Zaku RG…
Even worse, this Zaku is virtually unable to stand on it’s own. It is almost impossible to balance this kit properly while posing it… so I guess this is a new marketing strategy from BANDAI in order to sell their display stand? I must admit there are some improvement compared to the previous RG, the build of this kit is slightly better, and it is not that frustrated in building it compared to Gundam RG. However, the rest of it are just disappointment.
And I do found the proportion of this kit is a bit… weird? The head is slightly too big in my opinion… hmm… I wonder… anyway, the reason I bought it is just to complete the lineup with Gundam RG… I think I won’t go for any RG in the future… I rather pay more for a MG instead. So all in all, I do not encourage you to get this kit, unless you are willing to let this kit stand still without any pose on leg… or use a display stand to pose it. Many parts are a bit loose, BANDAI should have done it better than this… Here’s the tiny gallery.
No more loots and therefore I will gone hiatus again for some time with my Gunpla work… hope to be able to pick up some time and kick start my next custom made project…
Review: Gouf Custom HGUC
After a long hiatus… finally I’m back posting 2 reviews in a row… here’s the first one for Gouf Custom HGUC which has been done for weeks but I was too busy to post the review for it…
Generally, this is a very nice HG kit. Consider the price, the build, the quality and etc, I would highly recommend people to go for it if you do not plan to spend for the MG version. You will get almost everything you can imagine for this kit, from the sword to the gatling gun to the shield and etc.
In my opinion, this kit looks well balance, even better than the RG Zaku… just that it lacks of the joints with high posing ability. Anyway, there’s a gimmick which assist you in posing with the heavy arms held high… Shoulder is very close to the body, so by any chance if you paint this kit, please be careful when you pose it as it may scratch the paint away easily.
In the end, I just scratch built this kit without even weathering it… argh… I’m too busy with my current job… All in all, another nice kit from BANDAI, and this kit should look fantastic if you are willing to spend some time in modeling it. Not much pictures were taken, but here’s the small gallery for it.
Update: The year of 2011
Well, I can’t foresee what model is going to be release this year, and I’m not planning to guess as well. So I shall just roughly plan up for the existing kit and see what I got in my sleeve…
First, planning to get GN-X MG, 00 Qan[T] MG and Sinanju MG into my collection… Delta Plus HGUC is also in my wish list. Maybe will get a few HG kit for the Gundam 00 Movie if there’s no news for the 1/100 scale model. Some other Gundam that may eventually get into my collection will be ReZEL MG, Kshatriya HGUC, Force Impulse MG, Astray Blue Frame MG and etc…
For custom made project… planning to have a Custom made GN-X HG and Custom made Strike Freedom MG (yup, I will say goodbye to the PG strike Freedom for now…) Just hope that I will have the time to do so.
Anyway, for now, Zaku RG is in my hand awaits for me… Gouf Custom HGUC is done, but still thinking to weather it or not, follow by some photo shooting. I can foresee myself to be very busy this year in work, just hope that I still manage to squeeze some time out for my Gunpla works!
