Hack4Purpose 2024 is a nationwide entrepreneurial hunt conducted by DPurpose Foundation, to encourage, direct and champion our youth to innovate for a sustainable planet. We simply wish to tap your potential for purpose and provide you all that is needed to put your innovation into action. The primary focus of the Hackathon series of this year lies on four pillars of innovations, in alignment with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the United Nations. 

• Understanding Problem statement - 5 Points
  How clear is the team's understanding of the problem statement and how relevant is the proposed solution
• Innovation/ Uniqueness in Idea - 10 Points
  Is the team's idea out of the box and innovative in its approach, process or product in any form and how well it is justified
• Impact of the innovation/ technology - 15 Points
  How well does the idea/innovation benefit the environment, social and economic factors with clear roadmap to achieving it
• Team and their role allocated for each - 10 Points
  The idea is only as strong as the team, the roles of each of them in the team and how well they collaborate is highly important
• Alignment with SDG - 10 Points
  How relevant is your idea and solution to the 17 sustainable development goals
• Clarity on Target Customers - 10 Points
  Who is your customer who are you selling to ? Is there a clear understanding of target customer base. More preference will be given in case user feedback or inputs have been included by talking to potential customers

• Presentation - 15 Points
  How well the team has provided all details required in the ppt template given
• Video reel - 5 Points
  Explaining the idea in simple easy to understand manner and introducing the team (Feel free to talk in language of your comfort)
• Business Model -10 Points
  Clearly define revenue model how is your idea going to make money ?
• Financial Viability - 10 Points
  How simple and affordable is the proposed technology or solution? As in India the price point is everything, thus affordability is key for all innovations
• Bonus Points
  If team has 3 or all 4 female candidates you receive 5 points directly. If project/idea focuses on Native industries then you receive 5 points directly. If you have included your senior’s thesis/project with their name then you receive 5 points directly.
